In memory of Trixie Koontz: What is your favorite book with a dog?
As many of you Dean Koontz fans out there may have heard, Trixie Koontz, dog beloved, published author and humorist, died. In honor of Trixie, who is the dog (DK Fans will understand), tell me what you prefer "dog story" book. There must be a story of a dog or that the characteristics of a dog in a leading role. My favorite was Watchers by Dean Koontz. Golden Retriever Einstein was smart and funny and had a good heart. History was fabulous. It's one of my "read" books. DK books are on the books that I read more than once. I read about 7 or Watchers 8 times. There are scenes in this book that still send chills down the back ... as though the cop gets trapped in the housing development and intends to snap-clack-clack "of monster claw on the floor in the next room ... Marley & Me, John Grogan. the story of a guy, his family and his dogs ... its terrible, bad behavior, adorable dog and loyal, puppyhood to death. Very touching and hysterical. It'll make you love your pet.
