Why do trees of exactly the same DNA, end up shaped so differently?

For example, the English elms are all clones of each other hence why they died out so easily)

In the movies and literature, it is presented that a clone will be an exact match. The only thing that actually matches is the DNA that was used to start.
From the moment the DNA becomes something more than DNA, the influences of the world around it begin to apply their ingredients to the mix.
Your DNA from this very moment would not result in an exact clone of you. It would be similar and have some similarities. -----Hopefully the good things would be replicated------
Your right hand and you left hand are even attached to you at this very moment, I hope, and they have been everywhere you have and done everything you do. They are not the same.
I think you probably knew this stuff but wanted to hear it or get some good ideas for writing a paper.
The research nowadays is genome research to find what aspects of the DNA can be emphasized to replicate those exact things that are desired. Somehow the DNA could be figured out as to what is needed to make the trait of curiosity stronger.
