Is there some kind of list that insurance companies use (for ).....? Home Insurance
rate of breeds of dogs before issuing a policy for you? Is it listed online? I have some friends who have pits and Rotter and their higher insurance because of dogs they own ... but these dogs are beautiful, no problems of aggression and have obedience, CD, CGC titles for their dogs ... I have a Husky and a Bernese Mtn dog ... these races are on the 'bad' list? If your race is listed as "bad", should not the company Insurance watching the "dog" itself instead of race? Why should I pay a higher premium if my dog obedience Show titles etc. .. If insurance companies at least look at the titles that dogs have? The AKC does not simply "hand on the headlines for dogs. They have to earn them through hard work between the owner and dog. Your thoughts?
It is a shame, but it seems to be a case of owners "good" of having to pay because of "bad" owners. I can understand the refusal of the insurance company to consider titles AKC because it is not that the AKC will pay a claim if a situation arises ...
