So what makes a dog worth breeding?
Agility titles? Mutts can be obtained, as can the puppy mill dogs. Titles obedience Same as above. My question is, obedience titled dogs breeding dogs, Agility title, or similar "companion" titled dogs, a valid reason to reproduce? Assuming all other things are golden (health tests, the experience of race, temperament, etc.), which is deemed authorized and responsible? In your opinion? In your race? Conformation, field titles or capacity, raising titles / capacity, "Assets", title or capacity? How SAR fight? GCC? And in what form? The reproduction and for improving the breed? Breeding quality dogs entitled / Not improve the race, but to maintain the breed? Breeding dogs headed for money not to improve the race, but only to sell them? Counsel the devil - if it is to improve the breed, pets, breeding is not the best pets, assuming that all the appropriate tests are beautiful, exactly what to do? No TD is given by me to the well-thought out and supported opinions.
I do not consider agility or obedience titled dogs worthy of breeding at all. Do not mean a good example of a race can not win these titles as well, but not those alone. Since I have a companion race, then a title, assuming that the conformation and temperament tests are all equal and good. I do not think that 'improving' a race is possible, since the standard represents the ideal in a particular race, however, individual farmers may interpret differently and pursue their own ideal of what it means for raising standards. A standard is what makes a race a race. That is the plan of the structure, movement and temperament, and ignore all of these things does not create the "best" pet, only animals that can have a good temperament and are healthy, but now have taken a step away from what makes the race what it should be. There are enough small pet quality products in all races in the pursuit of perfection to deny any need to reproduce strictly for pets
