How long can I expect to wait for a first time visit with a psychiatrist for an issue of non-emergency?

What is the time usual waiting to take the first visit? Will I have to wait several days, a week or more? Thank you!

It depends really the psychiatrist and their schedule. Some have long waits, others are shorter. Usually they will try to see fairly quickly, within a week or two. If you are worried about, it could be shorter.
