Question on the first Batman: Dark Knight Release received what?
First, to clarify a point, which I do not want to make available for anyone to get (which is illegal, moving etc..) I tried to call the Warner home video (blocked waiting the phone), emailed "Website" TheDarkKnight official (awaiting response). What else should be done regarding the purchase early release? (Note, a grocery store where I go "Giant" had it for $ 24.99). never heard anything else yet about this, wondering also if it is so rare on this movie.? Thank you
I work at Blockbuster, and we always get new releases a week earlier, if not sooner. It gives us time to prepare them for release, stickers and magnetic stripe and on. People ask us if we could go back and sell them or rent them a copy of a new version earlier than usual alllll the time. They asked us. All we can tell them is that we can not until their official release date. Because we could be fined 500,000 dollars or to rent or sell an earlier movie. Because of the contracts we have with the movie studios. I noticed that some "groceries" or "pharmacies" do not care and put them out early. We call them and tell them to remove the shelves, because it is illegal for them to do that.
