Man 1963 Series
X-men Comics Help ??
So I thought Uncanny X-men was from 1963 - 1981. It was the very first x-men comic to issue 141. And the series X-men was from 1991 - present, and that's the one that always changed titles. Like it was New X-men and X-men Legacy for a while, but always one continuous series. But then I saw online that Uncanny X-men was from the very first issue in 1963 to the present. Like it's up to #530 or something. But that totally confused me because I thought it stopped at 141 and then that other series started in 1991. I was looking through the issues online and it shows the mohawk Storm and Jean's in them, so did Jean get revived or did it switch storylines or something? I'm just totally confused. lol
You are right.
X-Men (1963) #1 - #141 until the name officially changes to Uncanny X-Men #142 to present. After that, your guess is as good as mine on the number of other X-Men titles.
Some dealers treat the entire 500 and so issues as either Uncanny X-Men or just X-Men. My guess is that they are just grouping them together to make life easier on themselves (and their customers). To make things worse, Marvel and DC reboot titles back to #1 then eventually go back to the old numbering (i.e. Fantastic Four). The confusion it creates gives everyone headaches.
