What exactly was the cause of the collapse of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis?
I understand that Jerry was considered as the comic genius and Dean was second billing. Jerry head got bigger and became more screen time for movies they made together. Dean thought it was not used to its potential. So they had a big fight, Dean thought he could do better and even if it was a bit rocky, his friend, Frank Sinatra, met with his other buddies who have been unfairly treated, so you have the Rat Pack. With them and a little desert town known as Las Vegas, they have made him a legend. Some films were made on J and D's failure.
