Good "unpretentious" movies?

To explain: there are amazing films. Films with beautiful cinematography, complex and thought-provoking themes, for-the-ages performances, etc. Challenging, deep, meaningful, provocative, maybe even revolutionary films. Don't answer this question with those, lol.

What are a few of your favorite unpretentious "popcorn" movies? Films made by talented craftsmen which succeed on a fundamental level--action, comedy, suspense--even if they don't strike you as particularly -deep-. Understand?

The Bourne trilogy
From Dusk till Dawn
From Russia with Love
Joy Ride
The Rock
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
I wasn't trying to say the other films were pretentious, lol. I know how it looks, but I wasn't. I just wasn't sure how to phrase the question. I flirted with using the words "workmanlike" and "solid."
So please don't be insulted, person-with-indie-in-their-name.

To say that the other films are pretentious, I see as an insult. But I will answer your question anyway.
